Terms of Service

Last updated: March 16, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using RemoteCode ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of service

RemoteCode is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that allows developers to remotely access and manage their local AI coding sessions (including sessions from tools such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex) from mobile devices. The Service facilitates session monitoring, command execution, and notifications through account, billing, and push notification services.

3. Accounts and registration

To use the Service you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the Service.

4. Subscription and billing

RemoteCode offers a 7-day free trial. After the trial period, continued access requires a paid subscription at the then-current rate (currently USD $4.99 per month). Billing is processed through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy.

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancelling before the end of the trial period will not result in any charge. Refunds for partial billing periods are not provided unless required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect for existing subscribers.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit malicious code, malware, or any harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Conduct automated scraping, crawling, or data harvesting
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without prior written consent

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, trademarks, and all associated content, is the exclusive property of RemoteCode and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our name, logo, or trademarks.

You retain all rights to your own code, files, and data that you access through the Service. We claim no ownership over your content.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RemoteCode shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or the public.

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account from the settings page.

10. Changes to terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Brazil.
